International Gourmet Cooking Classes

Many people in Enfield remember taking cooking classes with Silvia, or watching her TV show.  Now is your chance to learn from a world famous chef, famous enough to get a private tour of the White House kitchen and to have had an interview in the First Lady's office.

Classes start on March 2nd, Tuesday, and continue on every Tuesday in March 2010

The Fee is $120, plus a $45 food fee payable to the instructor. Currently 20 students are enrolled. Classes are open to the public, first come-first-serve. Classes are at Silvia's Restaurant, 23 North Main Street Enfield.  Chef Silvia is the instructor.

Students will learn to prepare International dishes including homemade breads, soups, appetizers, main courses, desserts, salads and salad dressings

Instruction will concentrate in the preparation of a 5 course meal.  Techniques on food presentation will be emphasized.  Students will eat their creations.

Current plans are to video-record the class and to produce a DVD for each student.
